**How do I set up my printer?**
Postage and labels created with Orange Mailer can be printed on **any printer**. However, for the best experience we recommend using a **Zebra** or other thermal label printer.
Default Label Size
Orange Mailer defaults to **4" x 6"** labels. You can change the label size in the print settings if needed.
Printing on Regular Paper or Envelopes
If you want to print directly onto a **#10 envelope** using First Class postage:
1. Select **7x3** as the label size.
2. Load your #10 envelope into the printer (usually centered in the paper tray — check your printer manual).
3. In the print dialog, set:
- **Paper Size** → **Env10** (or #10 Envelope)
- **Scale** → **Custom 100%**
How to Print Your Label
After generating your label:
1. Hover over the label preview.
2. Click the **printer icon**.
3. In the print window, look for settings under:
- **Page Sizing**
- **Page Handling**
- **Zoom**
- or **Advanced / Finishing** tabs
Adjust these settings until the label prints correctly on your chosen paper or envelope.
Common Printing Issues & Solutions
**Problem:** Label prints too small or doesn’t fit the page
**Solution:** Change the setting from “Fit to Page” to **“Actual Size”** or set **Scale to 100%**.
**Problem:** Full page label instead of 4x6
**Solution:** Change the setting to **“2 per page”** or select the correct **4x6** label size.
**Problem:** #10 envelope printing is misaligned (especially on Canon printers)
**Solution:** Go into **Advanced Settings → Finishing tab** and **expand the printable area**.
Reprinting Labels
Don’t worry if something goes wrong — you can **reprint any label** at any time from the **History** page.
**Important:** Never try to reuse a printed stamp or label, as this is considered mail fraud.
